Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Arrival: Welcome to Lima, Peru’s capital.
Accommodation: Check into your hotel.
Evening: If you arrive early, take a stroll around Miraflores or Barranco, two of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods. Consider a visit to Parque Kennedy or the coastal cliffs for stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
Overnight: Lima.
Day 2: Lima City Tour
Morning:
Visit the Plaza de Armas, the historic center of Lima, home to the Cathedral of Lima, Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace), and the Monastery of San Francisco.
Explore the Larco Museum, which has an extensive collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts.
Afternoon: Visit the Miraflores district, the iconic Parque Kennedy, and the Cliffs of Miraflores for ocean views. You could also stop at Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca pyramid.
Evening: Enjoy a typical Peruvian dinner at one of Lima's top restaurants, such as Central or Maido (if available, reservations recommended).

Day 3: Lima to Paracas
Morning: Travel by bus (approximately 3.5-4 hours) to Paracas on the Pacific coast.
Afternoon: Take a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, also known as the "Poor Man's Galapagos," famous for their incredible wildlife including sea lions, penguins, and a variety of seabirds.
Evening: Relax on the beach or explore the small town of Paracas.
Overnight: Paracas.
Day 4: Paracas to Ica and Huacachina
Morning: Head to Ica (approximately 1 hour by bus or car), a region famous for its vineyards and the nearby Huacachina Oasis.
Afternoon: Take a sand dune buggy tour in Huacachina, followed by sandboarding on the massive dunes, one of the most exciting activities in Peru.
Evening: Visit a vineyard for a pisco tasting and learn about Peru’s national drink.
Overnight: Nazca
Day 5: Nazca
Morning: Take a scenic flight over the Nazca Lines, mysterious geoglyphs in the desert. The flight offers a unique aerial perspective of the giant figures, such as animals, geometric shapes, and humans.
Evening: Relax in Nazca and visit the Nazca Lines Observation Tower for a ground-level view of some of the lines.
Overnight: Bus to Arequipa
Day 6: Arequipa
Morning: Arrive in Arequipa, known as the "White City" due to its colonial architecture made from white volcanic rock.
Evening: Explore the main square, Plaza de Armas, and visit the stunning Santa Catalina Monastery, a city within a city.
Overnight: Arequipa.
Day 7: Arequipa to Colca Canyon
Morning: Early drive to Colca Canyon (approximately 3-4 hours), one of the deepest canyons in the world.
Afternoon: Arrive in the Colca Valley, with stunning views of the canyon and the snow-capped Mount Ampato. Enjoy a scenic walk in the area and observe traditional Andean villages.
Evening: Relax in your lodge and enjoy a traditional Andean dinner.
Overnight: Colca Canyon.
Day 8: Colca Canyon – Condor's Cross & Puno
Early Morning: Visit Condor's Cross for a chance to see the majestic Andean condors soaring above the canyon.
Morning: Drive to Puno (approximately 5-6 hours), located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
Evening: Arrive in Puno and take a walk around the city center or enjoy a traditional folk dance performance.
Overnight: Puno.
Day 9: Lake Titicaca – Uros and Taquile Islands
Morning: Take a boat tour to the Uros Islands, man-made islands built by the Uros people using totora reeds from the lake. Learn about their unique way of life.
Afternoon: Continue to Taquile Island, known for its skilled weavers and beautiful panoramic views of the lake.
Evening: Return to Puno.
Overnight: Puno.
Day 10: Puno to Cusco
Morning: transfer (1-hour flight). Arrive in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
Evening: Spend your first evening exploring the city center and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Plaza de Armas. Relax and acclimatize to the altitude (Cusco is at 3,400 meters / 11,150 feet).
Overnight: Cusco.
Day 11: Sacred Valley – Ollantaytambo and Pisac
Morning: Travel to the Sacred Valley. First stop: Pisac, famous for its ruins and vibrant market.
Afternoon: Head to Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca town with impressive terraces and ruins overlooking the valley.
Evening: Return to Cusco or stay overnight in the Sacred Valley (depending on your pace).
Overnight: Cusco or Sacred Valley.
Day 12: Machu Picchu
Morning: Early morning train from Ollantaytambo or Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes, the town below Machu Picchu.
Late Morning/Afternoon: Explore Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Take your time to explore the ruins and enjoy the incredible panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valley.
Evening: Return to Cusco by train.
Overnight: Cusco.
Day 13: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)
Early Morning: Depart early for the trek to Rainbow Mountain (also known as Vinicunca), a stunning natural phenomenon with vibrant multicolored slopes.
Late Morning/Afternoon: Hike to the top (around 5,200 meters / 17,060 feet), where you can marvel at the incredible colors created by mineral deposits.
Evening: Return to Cusco for a well-deserved rest.
Overnight: Cusco.
Day 14: Cusco City Tour
Morning: Enjoy a guided city tour of Cusco, visiting significant historical sites such as the Sacsayhuamán ruins, Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), and the Cusco Cathedral.
Afternoon: Explore local markets like San Pedro Market, or visit museums like the Inka Museum.
Evening: Departure or continue your travels.
